Nose pins fasten in three ways: a screw-shaped post that twists in, a straight post with a push back, or a bent L-shaped pin.
The screw type is the traditional Indian fitting and by far the most secure for daily wear.
A single pearl or a small cluster is a common choice, since the piece sits close to the face where scale matters.
When you are buying
Gauge matters more than design. Nose piercings are made at a specific thickness, and forcing a thicker post through irritates the channel.
