Aad
A Rajasthani choker: a broad, flat, rectangular plate of stone-set work sitting square at the base of the throat.
The aad is distinctively geometric, wider and flatter than most Indian chokers, and traditionally set with kundan and enamelled behind.
It is a Rajput and Marwari bridal form, worn with a longer timaniya or rani haar below it.
The back is tied with a dori, so the fit adjusts.
