Princess Length
About 17 to 19 inches, resting just below the collarbone. The default necklace length, and the safest gift.
Princess length falls at or just above the neckline of most tops, which is why it works with almost everything.
It is long enough to clear the neck comfortably and short enough to stay visible above a sari pallu or a jacket.
If a necklace is sold without a stated length, it is almost always 18 inches.
