Cuff
A rigid bracelet with an opening at the back, slipped over the wrist rather than fastened.
A cuff has no clasp. The gap lets it pass sideways onto the wrist, then it sits by its own tension.
That makes it the easiest substantial bracelet to put on one-handed, which a bangle is not.
Pearl cuffs set pearls into a broad metal band, or weave several rows between two rigid terminals.
When you are buying
Do not flex a cuff open and closed repeatedly to adjust it. Metal work-hardens and eventually cracks at the bend. Have it sized once, properly.

Bangle
A rigid closed circle worn on the wrist, sized by internal diameter rather than length.
Kada
A heavy rigid bracelet, broader and more substantial than an ordinary bangle. Worn by men and women.
Bracelet Length
Usually 7 to 8 inches. Should be about half an inch longer than the wrist so the piece moves rather than grips.
Ear Cuff
An ornament that grips the outer edge of the ear rather than passing through a piercing.
